Our team of Microsoft Certified Professionals support all Windows Server versions, from Windows NT 4 to Microsoft Server 2008; the latest version of the Windows Server operating system.  This latest version comes with enhanced web and virtualization capabilities, and it is designed to increase the reliability and flexibility of a server infrastructure while helping save time and reduce costs.  This newest set of powerful tools comes with a new operating system giving greater control over servers which streamlines configuration and management tasks.  Plus, a new set of enhanced security features which now harden the operating system to help protect data and network to provide a solid, highly dependable foundation for businesses.

Windows Server 2008 is a multipurpose operating system capable of handling a diverse set of server roles, depending on client’s needs, some of these server roles include:

Backup Monitoring Services

While RV’s Computers engineers are able to check our clients’ backup logs while onsite, an error in a backup job can occur between these visits.  Our Backup Monitoring Service includes daily email(s) sent to RV’s Computers from the client’s backup software systems.  Our engineers review these emails for any issues that may have occurred during the last backup procedure.  Issues are immediately identified and corrective action is taken to ensure the safety of our clients’ data.

Our monitoring service can include the following:

  • Documentation of manual and scheduled backup jobs

  • Periodic reviews of backup job completion status as reported by backup software

  • Monthly reports for the backup status, if requested

  • Checking offsite backup status

  • When errors occur, immediate action for resolution

Proactive Managed Services
